About this tool

Enter a date of birth to get the exact age today, the way you would count it on a calendar: full years, then full months, then days. You can also set a different “as of” date to find someone’s age on a past or future day.

Below the age you will find the total time lived in months, weeks and days, and how long until the next birthday.

Calendar age

Age = full years + full months + remaining days between the two dates

Birthdays on February 29 are treated as March 1 in non-leap years, the convention used by most US agencies.

Example

Someone born on February 29, 2000 is 26 years, 7 months and 22 days old on October 21, 2026.
